The capital of Rajasthan; Jaipur is a paradise for those people who wants to explore the forts, monuments and havelis as well as marvellous temples and alluring villages. So here I am describing some amazing things and experiences you should try when you will be in this Pink tinted walled city. I planned two days Jaipur city tour and it is sufficient to achieve most tourist attraction and activities of this city.  It is a fascinating city which got the different color of the royalty in every corner to be explored. Here’s how I got the best two in the Pinkcity.

The first day I wanted to cover all famous and majestic forts and palaces, so I started exploration from Amber fort. I took the elephant ride from the parking area to Amber fort courtyard. The grandiose fort is a great historical significant which made with pale yellow sandstone and white marble building. I spent almost 2 hours to explore it’s all rooms and fort’s various sections.

After an exciting exploration of Amber fort, I went to Jaigarh fort which is famous for its largest canon “Jaivana” in the world. The Jaigarh fort is located on top of a hill in the Aravalli range and offers a splendid view. The Jaigarh fort is a famous venue for film shootings and destination weddings. Next, I got Jal Mahal on way back to the city; Jal Mahal is located in the middle of Mansagar Lake and gives the great picturesque view.

My next destination was Palace of Wind (Hawa Mahal) which is an airy compound and made with red sandstone. The Hawa Mahal gives an alluring glimpse of the royal kings and their queens. On that day my last destination was Jantar Mantar observatory which comprises fourteen geometric devices for measuring time, tracking the location of various stars, predicting eclipses, ascertaining the declination of planets, and determining celestial altitudes.

In the dusk of the evening, I took tea from famous “Sahu tea Centre” and meander around the local markets of Jaipur. Famous chaotic markets of Jaipur are Bapu Bazar, Indira Bazar, Johari Bazar and Choura Rasta. These markets are famous for gems and stone jewelry, handicrafts items, Rajasthani clothes and shoes, carpets, silver earrings, lac bangles, leather juttis, colourful bandhini clothes and blue pottery.

Next morning my aim was to cover famous Nahargarh Fort; the grandiose fort, City Palace and Govind Dev Ji Temple. The Nahargarh fort is shooting spot of many Hollywood and Bollywood movies. Most iconic movie “Rang De Basanti” took the shooting to Nahargarh Fort.  Now I took my steps towards to the City palace which is a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture and home of golden era’s king’s costume museum, arms and armour museum, art gallery and the halls of the public and private audience. Finally, I paid players to Govind dev Ji temple; the backbone of the Jaipur.

With the heavy heart, it’s the time to say goodbye to Pink City. The trip becomes more mesmerising trip ever and gives still Goosebumps to me. The vibrant Bazaars, bright turbans and colourful attire and mixed culture of modernity and tradition are still in my mind. These are the real charm of Pinkcity. The city is a most captivating tourist destination, so take a Jaipur same day tour to this and explore the city by your own way.
